LAND
The Land. Earth. Ground. The soil in the ground below our feet that nurtures Nature around us and is shaped around us into valleys, pastures, hills and mountains. It also forms great river waterways that eventually flow to the Sea. Landscapes are ever changing. Depending on where you are on this planet in space and time, what the weather is, the season occurring, where the sun is located, the atmospheric conditions, and the time of day, a landscape can appear light, dark, vibrant, dull, solid, or even seem to disappear into the horizon. We get connected to the landscapes of the places we lived, liked or loved. The beauty of a landscape can stem from a person’s own appreciation of “beauty.”
