The IASD Dream Art Exhibition

I am proud to announce that two of my dream inspired paintings,” Reflection of the Soul” and “the Ocean is calling my name” were selected for the IASD Juried Dream Art Exhibition, June 13 -17, 2026. The Art Show is held in conjunction with the International Association for the Study of Dreams Conference, held this year at the Ashland Hills Hotel & Suites in Ashland, OR. On June 15th there was an artist reception for the international and local artists whose paintings were in the show.

I also had the pleasure of attending one day of the conference to learn more about the study of dreams. The sessions included dream diaries and group dream discussion, a dreamwork workshop on Active Imagination, a special event on Dreams & Art inspired by “A Midsummer Night's Dream”, and lastly a Dream Lucidity Workshop on lucid dreaming. Fascinating stuff!

The Artist Reception held Monday night June 15 was great fun and gave me a chance to view all of the amazing dream art that was part of the Dream Art Exhibition and meet fellow artists from all over the world including many local artists. We also met many of the conference attendees too and some of us also sold a few paintings. There were prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards. It was so lovely to see a fellow local artist and friend - Denise Kester - receive 2nd place! Her work is so inspiring!
